Yet more best days of my life

Howdy lets pick off from where we left off.

Day 4

I woke up with no voice, literally. I was mouthing 'mummy' all to myself in the morning and nothing came out. It was that bad. I couldn't talk to my beloved sub og mates and ogls anymore. And of course, i didn't cheer from this day onwards. Allorix had some minor issues with the organising committee of the orientation but that spurred us to greatness, really. haha. After Day 3's fun and laughter, the whole of allorix was ready to bring the new hall down. Because 'today's the day! That allorix will win today!' (Hans i salute u) Damn, the cheers were so loud on this day. Without me somemore. I'm finally thinking if i'm actually helping out in the volume of our cheers.

Bah, wadeva. We had a blehdy fun mass dance session in which i danced with my master, lydia chiew! Nothing much to mention here, because i couldn't do much without my voice. then soon it was wet games!

I didn't get very wet. Probably due the fact that i was 90% mute and was feeling a lil emo for myself. So i walked ard with the OG and watched them play to their hearts' content. It was nice watching all of them so into the VJ culture and how spontaneous they have become, in terms of their actions and stuff like that. I'm a proud OGL, yes i am!

Then they had the ending skit and video! And allorix finished (drum roll pls)

FIRST!

Eh sorry, FIRST RUNNER-UP.

The skit was so darn cool. Even though i had no voice, i was pulled by Hans to the front to lead cheers (which i can only mouth the words, haha) The crazy usual cheer gang cheered all the VJ cheers and each and every of the OGs cheer. Video's on facebook. Find it yourself, loser. Then there was the usual 6 mass dances and i almost fainted completing them, it was tiring. Felicia does the chee cheong fan very violently, every spin she made was capable of knocking me off my feet. Thank god for my strong arms and chest to be able to withstand all that mass crashing into my body. =)

Oops sorry, yea and theres that for day 4 in school! After that, the entire allorix went for a massive dinner at Suntec. Esplanade roof. My dearest alfie (sub og name) walked sooooo slow and took 233 years to buy their food and by the time we reached the roof, the fourth ice age just ended. Ok, we were really quite late and i wasn't really in the mood to say jokes and say lame stories. Why? No voice, no voice, no voice.

Snapped a few pictures here and there, trained home with alfie. Oh yea, i've forgetten to bring my wallet on this day too and everyone was so kind to lend me money money. Yea, it is funny in a rich man's world!

R is for random, really.

Day 5

Woke up feeling very excited about sea carnival and suntec mass dance and getting my voice back. But f*** it, the last point didn't happen. I was even more mute now.

Sea carnival was uber shiok. The freshmen had a fun time getting sunburnt while i spend most of my time in the water where i was harder to be sunburnt. Poor Felicia looked like a tomato after everything. Yi Yong was so bleedy nitrogen, he played like almost all the games with the freshmen whilst i walked around and got teased by my friends for losing my voice. We came back to school and i showered, using some poor guy's shampoo and body soap which was left in the cubicle. I was gracious, i used 3/4 of it and placed it back nicely. Yea, with the cap intact and all.

Then yi yong and felicia and kath had to leave me alone with my sub og. I'm usually fine with such arrangements but when you have no voice, you start to feel like you are a wee bit useless. Thankfully, a knight in shining armor (ok not exactly), CY came to rescue me. Ci Yi was so nice to have waited for all my freshmen to shower and went for lunch with us. In actual fact, he was abandoned by his own sub og, but nvm hes a lame and hilarious guy. The type i love hanging out with. OK the gayness ends here. Crap talked(croaked) all the way to the air port for lunch and we met tomato bimbo there. Great stuff, den it was suntec back soon.

I didn't join the train of losers(haha joking) running around the fountain of wealth this time. Mainly because i had no frigging voice. Ok i went one round with a bunch of cat high dudes i didn't even know existed. Then it was standing and waving to their masses of crazy st nichs, AHS, cedar, VS, CHS people running around. The music then rocked on and it was mass dances all the way. Friendship was with Felicia again, where she was super high, looks as if shes high on drugs. Then there was this emotional moment when we all sang the school song tgt and cheered Yo Vjc. Great stuff, really. Once in a life time.

Allorix OGLs camwhored and we went macs to stone a bit before heading home. Steph kinda sobbed during the train ride home, aww she must have missed her freshmen very much.
I went home, reflected a bit, and finally came to a conclusion that Allorix had rocked the orientation. I was proud to be an OGL once more.

Best days of my life

Howdy, orientation's over! Not something which i especially look forward to but you know, good things just have to come to an end one day.

Its gonna be a long long post(s). I will try to blog every single detail i remember.

Just before i forget.

Here goes:

Day 1

I brought some crazy stuff to school for the 'grandmother? grandfather? NO grand walk in!" like metal pot covers, ladle and shit like that. Day 1 was frigging hectic and honestly i couldn't remember what happened in that 2 hours before the freshmen came in. Something along the line of cheering and going through the walk in i guess. Who cares? by 10 am, the freshmen were in the hall and it took 1 hr and rather lots of shouting to gather the 11 of them. All 11 of them, in no order whatsoever: Chun Yong, Cheng Wei, Charlton, Suzanna, Hanna, Vanessa, Renee, Jiang Mei, Kiran, Liao Shuang Sophie and Tian ju. That should be 11, count them.

Right, then we had broke some ice and they opened up a bit. Like the way you open a packet of chip to see their shapes. Right, then we had a mass cheering session to teach. Around 4-5 sub ogs were there in a big circle at the bball court so we the ogls had to shout real loud to teach them our cheers (which will eventually appear on this blog). Time passed so fast and soon it was lunch, i think.

My cute lil sub og Alfie had lunch with my fellow OGLs namely the super responsible Yi Yong, the ultra incredibly sexy Felicia and the super unbimbotic-yet-dun-judge-the-book-by-its-cover katharine while i prepared for grandfather. no, grand walk in. I had long and spiky hair and shun him, ni ming, daniel (my fellow actors) spiked them up real hard. Its harder than.. erm.. stone.

Walk-in finished faster than i could possibly imagined and soon there were cheering sessions and dancing sessions. Ohhh whiney whiney. 1st day passed like a breeze and i can see the OG opening up a lot. Great first day.

*my incredibly stiff hair was cut on the 1st day as well with the hairdresser struggling hard (haha hard) to keep my hair down.*

Day 2

Pretty much more exciting. I had my voice still so all was great. Could talk to my sub og more cause i didn't rlly communicate much with them on the first day thanks to the walk in and stuff. Found out that they are really nice people and are all capable of getting high. But i had to leave them once more as i was a gamemaster for the dry games and had to prepare the games. Anyway my station was prepared by sitting among 7 other ogls and we talked crap for 45 min. Namely Jason, Yue Long, Sabrina, HARRY, Samantha, Wen Yi and Erica. We did a dry games cheer and yea it was spastic. Perfect for the occasion.

My station includes people clipping pegs on their shirt and everyone has to play catching to snatch the pegs. This could only mean one thing, someone's gonna get injured. I think i screamed really a lot to ask them to play more friendly. Freshmen should be friendly but then, you know such perfect situation does not exist. Thankfully there wasn't a serious injury case in my station but some dude dislocated his knee in another station. Bad.

Dry games was over in a camera flash! and by then allorix was fourth i think. Superbly fun day. I had voice.

Day 3

This was arguably the greatest day in orientation. Again, my voice was existent. Allorix was soft in the morning. I meant the cheering. Guess the freshmen were rather shagged out. Thankfully, we the ogls were hyper enough to make them all hyped up by the time cluedo began. I frankly cant remember what in gods name happened during cluedo. What i do remember are the crazy cheers we did, dumb games we played. It was fun. I had lunch with my sub og together then we were all released for CCA walkabout.

CCA came and went. I was playing psp with ian the whole time. Didn't really knew what was going on.

The fun begins after the orientation cause we had Sub OG dinner. Sub OgS dinner to be exact. There were 4 sub ogs. Oh and allorix came in second for cluedo, amazing stuff. Then it began to rain again, which was good as it would mean that there will be no rain for the next few days. We went to Subway at ECP and had a hell of a time there. haha, firstly it was footlong sandwich with cookies shared with lydia. Then we play some really dumb games which i cant possibly list them all out here. Actually i can, but i dun wanna brag that i know how to play all the games. =P We just all stood outside subway and played for an hour plus, even until Felicia arrived from her training. Damn it was fun, the bus ride home was great too and yes u guessed it, day 4 is next.

STOP! reality check. arsenal will not win the lge this season and they may be playing uefa cup nxt time. its finally happening after 12 years. the match against west ham summed up arsenal this season, incapable of sustained brilliance. Wenger have committed grave mistakes so we can only hope we pull off wonders soon.

I Will Survive

Howdy, i must survive. Just in case you guys thought i was dead, here i am.

I'm struggling with a super persistent illness. For the past 6 days, i have had on-and-off fever, super cough, disgusting flu, painful joints, body aches all the way from my toenails to my hair. The fever's gone (hopefully) but the remaining cough and sore throat are not going easy on my body too.

I now eat antibiotics the size of my lil finger. and the medicine is from the 4th doctor already this week. I haven had the strength to pick up a pen and read any of my notes or hmwk. God bless me.

I'm getting tired just by typing these few short paras, i've to rest.

howdy fuck, i had to kick off the new year by falling incredibly ill. OK i have to admit it was my own fault to go out with teng, quan and nk when i was having a slight fever but i couldn't pang seh them right? Not when its teng's 18th birthday!

For a good 8 days, i was same age as teng wee but he managed to age earlier than me yet again, tt old dude. Man i have to apologise to ARC for not being able to turn up for the 1st ever meeting with coach but i was totally terrible a few moments ago. That shit panadol flumax does nothing whatsoever to heal my terrible fever and i haven had a good rest since ytd 4 pm. I was literally burning all over. Thank god for super chinese disgusting mordan medicine. Yes, it tastes worst than your own shit but it works in minutes! Chinese medicine FTW!

OK another new year resolution: i will strive to sleep earlier so i wont be so heaty and fall sick and not being able to make it for ARC trng. Man i was so looking forward to today's 1st meeting with coach and shit has to happen. Shit happens right?

Anyway, i fulfilled one of my new year resolution already! I've managed to take a picture with my beloved buddies hahaha. Once again, its at the pool centre in park lane, my grp photos usually end up there, weird.

Turn of the year

Howdy, lets start this off with a belated bday to this cute blog (not!). It probably slipped my mind since arsenal drew 2-2 with villa. Argh wadeva. It is that time of the year again to review my very fruitful 2008!

*warning wall of text spotted*

Lets start off with my new school. VJC. I've never once regretted going into this school even though my results is probably as good as my vacuum cleaner. Don't say i never fulfil my potential, its just not clicking for me, yet, YET. haha ok, i've made new friends, close friends, had some disputes, mature more (i hope), and probably also seen some ugly parts of the real world out there. New friends are silver, old friends are gold, thats for sure.

I have an amazing class, truly. I feel contented and lucky to have such a class like them. I've the honour to make friends with people like elton, wenkai and harry etc. haha, the famous four who talk cocks during econs tutorials. Not forgetting timothy, chin boon, randy and cedric, who (each of them) has allowed me to learn how to improve as a person, be it through good times and bad times. I know myself, there are things which when i cant accept, i wont accept, stubborn would be a good word here (Thats like wenger so hey! wads wrong?!). I've learned and enjoyed a lot from all these individuals the past year, so no matter how bad things may turn out, i really want to thank them.

Not to forget the girls! yu sin, sherlyn and li xuan has been wonderful in making our class such an enjoyable place. The energy they maintain each and every single day and the way they spice up our lives (haha) is probably instrumental in making our class bonded. Fantastic energy really.
Sherli, my pw mate with her 'so irritating' catch phrase, will not be left out too. I'm lucky to have her and cedric and jiang wei as my grp mates, putting up with my nonsense and my really bad anger management at times. Oh and all the hard times i had to put through during the latter part of the year, thanks a lot for listening my incessant complains during those long bloody 43 rides, haha so arigato sherli! And shu han, one of the 2 girls i've first met in VJ. Your enthusiasm during class outings and all was superb too!

and theres xin rui! hahhaa SG awww. One of the most enjoyable prank i had this year was from SG and HG. Honey boy is really quite sweet, really. =) SG is a really nice girl ok, apart from the fact that she is quite ley chey, quite whiney, talks a wee bit too much and too loud at times, eats quite lot, make fun of others. Yea shes nice. really. And shes a good listener! I'm very happy to have a friend like SG who can chat chit (yea like dane cook, i flipped this shit) for hours with me. Oh ya, she mj damn slow also, apart from that she is a good friend!

Plus the long lost ka lun siamed to america. My short span of friendship with him was an unforgettable one!

Ok the chapter for the class is over, let move on to some of my older friends, shall we? Yes we shall.

I must have been a monk for my past life and past past life to have the luck to have friends like zi quan, teng wee, en hao and nian kiat. Quan will be my closest and bestest friend for 8 years starting from tmr, gosh how time flies! Me <3 <3 der worz. From the tootsie wootsie boy to the ultimate cute shiat now, unbelieveable stuff. I've known quan since p4 till now, we were even schl mates since 1999? haha, we couldn't be schl mates for 2008 and of course 2009 but our friendship still hold strong! all our failed mugging sessions in 2008 still fresh in my mind, rmb blasting songs and erny guitar and the ipod with bon jovi live in BK and the disgusting M&Ms. God, now i know why my results sucked. =P

If i were to rob a bank, i would ask teng wee. uh huh. Hes the guy whom i will go through thick and thin with, considering all the stuff (good and bad but mostly bad) we've been through already. He's been a real buddy to me and one who can tahan my incessant crap. Though we weren't schl mates in 2008, 2008 still saw us played lotsa crazy soccer (and dangerous sliding) softball and whatnots. haha. Hes just one person who i wish that when i'm in trouble, he will be right beside me saying "fuck that was fun!" =) Thanks alot my buddy! The only downside to you is that u are a destroyer and like to destroy my room. and who can forget ur crazy softball throws?!

En Hao brought Bon Jovi in my life and hes a really great person to study and hang out with. Dramas make the world go round and 2008 saw us swapping tonnes of secrets and boy and girl issues haha. My lips are sealed, i wont say a word! He's really nitrogen (N2? Geddit?) about softball and all the sb sessions we had at the cage was fun ttm!

NK, my er hu buddy, haha, what can i say? i will bring him along if i were to rob a bank too but knowing him, he'll chicken out be4 the time arrives!

2008 also saw me knowing some new awesome friend like..

HG! haha the story goes: this girl pei ying (not her real name) decided to play a prank on the uber cute guy jw(not his real name) and she penned a lovey dovey love letter to him, addressing him as Honey boy! hha aka HB, and thats how the name came out. haha. HG has been a great person to be with and shes good entertainment on the occasional 55 bus rides we take home. Hopefully, ur luck will change for the better in 2009! Both in life and mj!

Then theres lydia! Aka Shi fu in terms of cuteness and funniness. Shes a really great friend to be with and i feel very comfortable chatting with her. I was lucky enough to have her as my fellow OGL and my mass dance partner too! We would frequently try to unravel the secret on why we are born so cute but to no avail. hmm. lol perhaps that is why i had to send her home to her ultrauberulu hdb when we hang out till late at night. Though i have to sacrifice myself by jeopardizing myself to those perverts out there, its all worth it yea. Anw, i really think its unsafe for girls to go home so late in SK, so many perverts out there!

Then theres the one person who can compete with zi quan, julynn! We met in P4 and were monitor and monitress in p6! We've been friends since and who can forget those stupid nights on msn when we'll just crap rubbish and gossip. ah yes, its nice to gossip with dear monitress! Fate allowed us to become schoolmates again and i really cherish our friendship. Afterall, we even org the 6 faith bbq this year (it was a success btw) and that goes to show how capable we all are! Oh and all the hk serial dramas we love so much haha. I even lent her some of my O lvl notes and allowed her to come to VJ! I rock yea. Hopefully our friendship can last till 2038 or even 2080 or even 2123 or.. argh u get the drift. Thanks a trillion my beloved monitress!

Air rifle club realli has the potential to succeed. At times, i really feel i am not putting enough effort as an exco, but i will try and try harder. I am grateful to the club and the opportunity that has been handed to me. The laughter, fun, joy and support the club and the members have given me this past year is really wonderful and i would never experience it elsewhere. I cherish my time in the club and i feel the exco, jun han, esmond, chai li, audrey, wei yao and chiah hock are an exceptional bunch and we'll do well. We have the right combination and lets push tgt to our target. No doubt it would be tough and strenous next year, i have the belief that we can reach to that level we all deserve, the very best. I have seen massive improvement from all the members and the determination and extra effort each and every member is willing to put in. Lets do it not for others and whatever, lets do it for ourselves!

As an arsenal fan, 2008 has been an eventful year for us. I can still rmb that damned night when dudu broke his leg at birmingham and the downward spiraling of our entire season since all the way to the heartbreak of losing in all 4 competitions and to this year's talented and inconsistent batch. No matter what, we must never give up on them, no one ever gives up on The Arsenal.

Heroes come and go. Passion is forever

And rightly so too.

Glory will arrive one day, i'm sure.

2008 has made me understand a lot of new and fresh stuff which i never knew i could experience. I've realised how important friends can be in our lives and how we should cherish them. Above all, i've realised how family can even be more important in our lives. Any and i mean ANY relationship can turn sour overnight but family ties will always last the test of time, always. I love my family very much, my father, mother, brother and sister. I'm a lucky boy to have such a family, a family that will stand by me no matter what i do (erm i'm good boy).
I'm finally 17, at long last. Its another 360 days before i turn 18 in which i will have (i hope) come of age. 2008 was an enjoyable year and lets brace ourselves, for wadeva that may be thrown towards us in 2009.

Theres just so much to learn and reflect from 2008, i will die typing if i have to list everything out.

I'm looking forward to 2009! C'mon you gunners too!
