Scousers, red devils, Russian money and the holy gunners!

Its 30 min into man u and liverpool and i just gave 2-3 screams. Holy bananas, i'm rooting for the scousers no matter how shit they were and will ever be. This would be smth like a one night stand, a special one-off event where i will be a liverpool fan for 2 hours and 2 hours only. Grand slam sundays are definitely not good for one's well being. I can even hear my heartbeat.

Holy god, wes brown scored.

Which means i will end blogging until something good happens, like reina scoring a hat trick with his pinky.

A day of fun and games

Howdy, we had full day ytd and it rocked. Today is good friday and all is good. Short sentences are becoming the norm for me. I dunno why. I cant stop. Can i?

Ok, before i drift to some place for some high quality chess game with mr.zhou, i must 1st say i am very excited (and a tinge of paranoia too) about grand slam sunday. Liverpool can go eat shit for all they want but pls beat Man U, pretty pls? Seriously, if Arsenal loses to Chelscums, it may be all over... I dun wanna get all emo but this is the one moment where we cannot but fail to win.

Walcott should start, maybe the england callup would make him more inspired to make cuntley cole fall on his butt and scream like he always do at his popstar wife. We all hate him, don't we? Glass rosicky is not back yet (what's new?) and rvp may start. I don't wanna expect too much from RvP now, just a hat trick will do.

Man i hate homework. Econs essay is so effing tedious and tiring, not to mention the question is set to kill, not pass people. I'm actually saying all this even before i start work, it makes me feel better not doing the work =). I spent most of my full day shooting and waiting for chin boon before we went to play pool. I hate losing (who doesn't?) and i kept losing, so i hate it even more. Luckily i saved some pride playing ps2...

Today was not very fruitful. I didn't eat many fruits. Oops sorry, am trying to save the world by reducing global warming with all the cold jokes. As you can see, i hope u can, i am super duper bored right now. Good friday means i get to stay home and rot it off. No work was done. No useful stuff was accomplished. Eat and sleep was routine. I love short sentences. I have completed the former. Now i have to finish the job. The latter has to be done. Sleep beckons...

C'mon you gunners!

And then, there was maths

Holy mama, maths conquered me. I was half expecting a ferocious 1 and half hour and intense battle with the paper and the paper exceeded my bloody expectations. Never knew maths could be this torturous and sick. I fought valiantly i guess, with pride and honour. But i guess the paper didn't give me any shit and just did what it had intended to do the moment it came out of the photocopier or whatever.

Yes, failing seemed to be the only way now.

More imptly, i gotta pick myself up from this failure and be a better man. Sounds corny and cheesy but thats the way to go, emo cant get you far.

Sweet holy god, we are having full day on thursday. Thats like the best thing that has happened since ramly burger. Ramly is frigging great but a burger is totally sinful. All the mayo and bbq sauce. Smacking great.

Oh and seems like barca want eboue just like how arsenal wants me. Strangely, i'm actually half hoping that this rumor is true to its core. If Barca needs a joker to cheer up TH14 and co, i say go for it. Take him, take him to your heart.

I cant believe i can still walk today, after all that crazy sprinting yesterday. It seems like a good night to just lay on the bed and dream off. So, till tomorrow.

Maths and the soccer behind it

Howdy, u must be happy i started off the post as howdy as it would mean that i am actually in a good mood. Well, in fact, nes. That no/yes at the same time if u haven realise, which i presume u most prolly wouldn't. Ah heck it.

Maths and the soccer behind it. No idea how i came up with that, i suppose thats the 2 big things running in my mind right now. My mind's rather big btw. Not much arsenal stuff today, except for the f***ing draw and all. Life goes on and earth continues spinning. Philosophical, i am. I like.

Maths is(are?) the suck. No wait, maths is the sucks. Doesn't sound right, but u get my drift. I used to like maths a lot. That was during the period when i actually knew how to tackle them. Now its all different and hence i think maths is(are) the suck(s). However, as a JC student now, i must learn to stop using such childish terms and just get the job done. Contradictory? U bet. I barely understand what i just typed and it feels good, really.

Soccer was fun today. We had our jerseys and we played some malays. I meant played against them. There were young old middle age malays so all was good. We managed our 1st draw so all was better. I actually contributed something to the team so all was best. I actually prefer the hot sun to the rainy weather. Saves on the boots cleaning and all the shit stuff.

I ought to be mathsing now but (yea everything has a 'but') i dun feel like doing so. I didn't feel like doing maths the whole of last week and with the test around 18 hrs away, i should just shoot myself. No point being pessimistic now. Theres always the bright side of life. Maybe 20 yrs down the road, i can tell my son 'hey daddy spent his one week holidays doing shit stuff and soccer and didn't study for maths!' Then we can start laughing about it and have some family fun. Gosh i think i'm going bonkers. But it feels good, really.

Alright, now we need 2 miracles, 2 holy miracles. One for arsenal to win the BPL and other for me to pass maths. To infinity and beyond!

When the going gets tough,
The great ones play soccer.

For now..

lets just f*** anything alive. Every single time arsenal loses, i question my belief as an arsenal fan. I have faith, oh yea i have, but its diminishing by the seconds. Has the Milan glory blinded the team? A false sense of "we can beat anything"? From the looks of it, no. They have the hunger, the passion but i don't see the steel in the team anymore. At least from the games after the italian job.

4 draws and we are witnessing a season's hard work going down the drain, ladies and gentlemen. This is no joke. I don't want european glory, i want the BPL title. I know they want it too, definitely. No one will remember the flashy, silky football if we don't win it. No one will remember the second best. And thats the truth. Truth hurts and you cant do anything about it.

Yes i am frustrated. I am sick of seeing Arsenal draws. I wish Man u and Chelsea would just f*** themselves with russian money and whatnot. But tts just me. Emotions are strong stuff you know. Thats what make us run, make us do things that we do and scold things we scold. I suppose a few swear words will do me good. Anger management, they call it. F*** it.

Now, we need a miracle, a real holy miracle.

Arsenal Prevailed

Ladies and gentleman..., To the Arsenal...

Arsenal 2 - 0 Ac Milan

God bless everything today! Though i may be suffering from flu, sore throat, cough, and everything painful and such, the win is like the perfect remedy to everything. I woke up at 4 am to watch, sizzling throat and all, and was not disappointed. Uh huh, no disappointment at all. My only regret is that i cant parade my Arsenal jersey in school today, i swear i'm gonna do it tmr....

Its f*cking brilliant!(To use some english accent) Arsenal played like real contenders today and the spirit and character in the team (yes the one wenger was ALWAYS talking about) was evident throughout the entire match. The win was utterly sweet which was amplified by the fact the gunners had been on a winless streak for the last 4 games.

Other than the few early scares by the home side, i found the match tilted, most of the time, to Arsenal. We were superior in terms of both possession and passing and was unlucky for Fabregas to hit the post in the 1st half. Going into the second half, Arsenal just picked off from where they were and continued to pressure the Italian side. It was obvious the home fans were frustrated by Arsenal's hogging of the ball and i believe most of them could feel that the worst was yet to come. But the Italian defence is renowned for their sturdiness and you need more possession to split it open like a nut. Someone had to provide that impetus.

THEN, out of the blue, it came.

Cesc took the ball and side stepped Gattuso almost effortlessly with a surge of pace and when it looked like 'all-so-predictable-cesc' to pass the ball, he unleashed an ultimate heat seeking rocket to the bottom corner(which was sizzling hot and was emanating heat). Amazing stuff. If it was not the wee hours of the morning(and my throat), i would have made sure that entire sengkang heard me scream. The second goal came after flamster started a counter attack and released speedy theo. Old legs vs brand-new-smacking-fresh legs. It is obvious who is gonna be faster. Theo went to the byline, cut in a perfect pass and ade capped of the historic night with his 1st ever UCL goal at the San Siro. What else can be better for the Arsenal fans?

Oooo i'm still feeling the hangover of the victory. Though i know all my euphoria could be short-lived if i do not start mugging my econs. But surely, on a rare occasion like this, all sins should be pardoned. Today is a proud day for all the true gooners and for that, a toast to everyone!

Italian job - checked!

F*** birmingham

Howdy, i cant bear myself to be emo again. Its just not my type to be emo, i'm actually a very cheerful and hyper boy =)

F*** i hate Martin Taylor, no matter what the others say about him 'having no bad bone' in him. What a whole load of bullshit. I know bullshit when i smell it and my nose is definitely tingling now. Yes, it might not be intentional but who, in the right frame of mind, will slide for the ball with their studs more than 1 feet away from the ankle? It was a downright dumb tackle and for Eduardo, it was just unlucky for him.

Edu don't deserve such shit. His Arsenal career was only just taking off and all might be lost now. A broken leg and lengthy treatment which means that Edu might never return to the same competitive level he could have achieved. That taylor bastard ought to be ashamed of himself for potentially ending another professional's career.

All the shit was further compounded by how clichy had a lapse of concentration in the dying minutes and allowed the 'cocked eye' ref, mike dean to blow the whistle and award a penalty. What a crappish decision. I wonder how much money SAF had paid to mike dean to make him award the penalty. He's better off refereeing the local game between Sengkang punggol and Woodlands. Screw off Mike Dean, BPL dont need crap like you.

I'm still in a calm mood as i type this. I am not frustrated neither am i extremely agitated by the result. 3 pts clear at the top is not bad at this stage. However, i do feel upset for Eduardo's injury and how unjust the punishment dealt out to f****** taylor will be. If its a mere 3 match ban, then people around me better be afraid. Be very afraid.

All is not lost so win the league for Eduardo! C'mon you gooners!

Dudududu, Dudududu
Hey hey hey!
Duardo!

Godspeed to you, Eduardo

Que Sera Sera

We knew the day was coming,
but we didn't knew it would be so soon.

I shall cease blogging about Arsenal for one post, though the really BIG ACMILAN clash is coming up in a few hours time. The reason being the emo side of me is actually blogging right now and not the usual crazy(sane) me.

08S54 met up for 'not so final' meeting. We had the usual crazy and noisy dinner, complete with noisy xinrui blabbering non-stop(i mean it), a certain crazy chermain who slapped poor kind people around her and the bullshit Ka Lun and Cedric always offer(i was innocent). Yes, it seemed like a typical s54 outing but actually deep down, we knew it was something more.

If tomorrow is the end of the world, what would you feel?
For some of us, it feels exactly like it.

For some reason, i was inspired to write a poem, and with the help of Ced, we made this :

New friends are silver,
Old friends are gold.
I knew its time to leave,
But i don't wanna let go.

Good things come,
And good things go.
Gone were the days,
When Tan Yew Hwee came and scold.

"Pon lectures!"
As we always say
"Lets go Treehouse!
To chill and play!"

Never can we
Deny the sands of time.
Yet you will always remain
Deep in our minds

And though we are
Not meant to be.
We will stay, forever,
As one big family.

Its the not best poem essay but i swear its the most truthful one i have ever written. Oh yea, i have only written one poem in my entire 16 yrs.

Anyway, i want to leave more of my emoish thoughts after i upload the pics but thanks to the O2 orientation, i dun tink i can do it soon. So i shall reserve my comments for the next post.

End of chapter 1

Thrashed, Whacked, Obliterated, Vanquished

Most of the time, i say howdy cos its a good day, but u know its never a good day when u have Fletcher scoring against you, that bow-legged shitface.
For the 1st 30 min of the game, i thought i was watching mike tyson vs donald trump in a boxing match. Arsenal was abysmal and ineffectual, often losing possession(which was not alot btw) when they really should have been passing the ball around. Putting the shittyness of the OT pitch aside, Arsenal sucked. Really.

Cesc and hleb were invisible. Gilberto was having those usual 'you cant see me' days and the back four... one word to sum it up, useless.

Gallas, like the tottenham 5-1 thrashing, was caught with many schoolboy mistakes which i thought only i could make. Losing out to the shitface in the air, failure to read the game and many more. He is quality, no doubt, but mistakes like these can prove to be fatal. Toure had a horrid return and i have never gave neither hoyte nor traore my vote of confidence.

Eboue is an idiot who does not deserve to don the red-and-white of arsenal. What a loserish attitude, getting himself red-carded when he could have just ran around to make up the numbers. A**hole.

Basically it was awful to watch. I spared my friends(who actually came over to stay to watch) and myself the agony to watch the final goal. We decided enough was enough. Now we have to look ahead to AC milan. Not all hope is lost though, we have to buck up for greater challenges ahead. C'mon you gooners

Advantage Arsenal

Howdy, what a week! On top of those really great-looking red objects, Man utd lost to Man city fair and square and rectangle, and Arsenal smashed 2 in against black 'rugby' burn and go clear by 5 points. 5 sweet fat points. Though a freak weekend for arsenal might change everything, i am feeling optimistic. Oh yes, i am.

Senderos' goal was routine but it was one that might prove to be crucial. We are now one goal more in terms of goal difference compared to SAF's divers and in a bruceleeshirt tight situation like this, all this lil details matter hell lot. Ade then picked up his 19th league goal of the season (oh yes, togonator is flaming) and although i must say i have my doubts regarding Ade being arsenal's lead striker, i am now won over. Just like thousands of others, i hope. I saw how he flick the ball up with his 1st touch and while under pressure, fired a well-placed finish into the bottom corner. It was those kind of days where the keeper would have thought "how in the blue hell did he do that 2m in front of me?"

Arsenal had shown strength and depth whole season long and this just further proved the point: Arsene knows. He did not make any buys during January and kept his faith in his makeshift squad which lacked more than 6 1st team regulars. Masterstroke. We love wenger, dont we?

I'm happy to see senderos playing so well, same goes to flamster, ade, cesc, hleb and co. In fact, i am so impressed with the team right now, i could.. erm.. buy that arsenal cap i saw in royal sporting. No serious, i feel like singing arsenal songs in the middle of the lectures. In fact, i have been doing just that these few days, much to my classmates' annoyance. No worries, they will become arsenal fans too when i bring out the arsenal side in them. Yes, there is an arsenal side in every one of us, you and me.

Next up are the divers and the EuropeInvincibles. Pretty daunting task even by Arsenal's high standards. I have faith though, all we need is faith and everything will fall in place. Shine gooners!

It would be before long when we sing:

We won the league at Manchester,
We won the league at Old Trafford,
We won the league at Manchester!

AHHH! C'mon you gooners!

Merry CNY

Howdy, a quick one before i collect those yummy ang baos. Happy Chinese New Year to all, no matter what race you are, just enjoy yourself in this festive mood.

Intl friendlies came and went. I really dunno wads the big fuss about the England game when they didn't even qualify for Euro 2008, but it seems Fab Cap got off to a winning start so good luck to him.

I watched how Walcott finished that sweet goal in the U21 friendlies against Ireland. Theo will come good, i believe, unlike that fishhead jeffers. Well placed finish and hopefully some dosage of confidence will make him better. It would be even better if he run the hell out of the aging milan defence and score a couple. That should be his CNY resolution.

Next game on Monday against blackburn at home. We should come out triumphant, especially when chelsea and man utd are like dogs chasing us behind. Last 13 games to go and i believe this is one of the most exciting title race ever. If we do some math, we might be able to win the league title in that shithole, OT. Oh i can hear the gooners sing.

Right, i'm off to offer some oranges and get those absolutely delicious looking red things. We all love them dont't we?

Till next time and Cmon you gooners!

Top Spot

Arsenal 3-1 Man city
Man utd 1-1 Sp*rs
Chelscums 1-1 ex-arsenal flops

Howdy! Many thanks to our most-hated lilywhite idiots and our old arsenal rejects to send arsenal to the summit again. Sp*rs shld have won if they weren't so useless but 2 pts dropped for Man utd and all is well.
Ade is on fire, i repeat, the togonater is pulling no stops. 11 goals in 8 games, at this rate, he'll beat henry's record in like 200 more wks, no sweat. The moment fabregas released sagna, smth was gonna happen and god said "let there be goal" and there was one. Second goal was just a top notch team goal, wrapped up by the ice-cool crozillian who is gettin hotter by the day. (yea oxymoron)
Clichy then made a uncharacteristic error by giving a sloppy ball away but its okay, the togonater was there to save the day. 3 goals and we are top of the ice kachang.

Healthy position to be in right now, especially when the next few wks are gonna be super strenous. Manutd and AC back to back. Toure pls come back in one whole piece and RvP pls start hitting form and not break like glass anymore.

Oh yea, my entire lower back and thighs n legs n calves are injured. My whole body is so screwed up right now, you can use it to remove a nail. I'll be going for some treatments these few wks so pls let me heal.

But for now, dear everyone, let us enjoy top spot.
