Ooooh to be a gooner!

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going and going and going. 2-0 down with 10 men away from home plus rainy weather. These were the perfect ingredients for Gary Megson to pull off a famous victory against the mighty gunners. But he added at extra ingredient to this concoction, Arsene Wenger.

Le Boss showed us again why he trust his young squad so much and why we are NOT(look carefully) out of the title race yet. Man utd can still f*** it all up by losing 29-0 or smth. Ok lets be realistic but we do have a pot shot in winning the league so why not have this self belief?

I'm actually trembling with excitement now and its a long time since i felt like this, even though man utd is leading 2-0 with villa seemingly incapable of doing any arsenal magic. Perhaps they should get a man sent off 1st.

No wait, i'm joking, hang in there Villa, you guys can knock it a goal or two!

C'mon gunners. The time is now, its your chance to jump at glory. Prove me right u gunners!

One in a million

Howdy, its game over.

Arsenal 1 - 2 Chelscums

The stage is set for the downfall of this season's Arsenal team. 5 draws and 1 loss is atrocious for any title challenging team and the fact remains Arsenal is not performing now. All the beautiful football and such are of no use to our title dreams. Perhaps its curtains for Arsenal...

Great, Arseblog has summed it all up to perfection. I don't feel inspired to write(type, blog wadeva) about our performance. It wasn't the worst we had but neither was it the best or at least up to that title-contenders standard. It just looks like we are running out of steam and who could we blame for having such a thin squad with niggly injuries here n there?

If Arsenal would to win the premier league, it would be an one in a million shot, a very very fortunate scrape through. There is still hope and we should not give up as gooners. What we need now is an inspiration, from whoever or whatever, i don't care, just give the lads 1.

All is not lost and if we buckle down and pull up our socks, there is still an opportunity to win it. So give it your best shot you gunners!

We're by far the greatest team! The world has ever seen!

Scousers, red devils, Russian money and the holy gunners!

Its 30 min into man u and liverpool and i just gave 2-3 screams. Holy bananas, i'm rooting for the scousers no matter how shit they were and will ever be. This would be smth like a one night stand, a special one-off event where i will be a liverpool fan for 2 hours and 2 hours only. Grand slam sundays are definitely not good for one's well being. I can even hear my heartbeat.

Holy god, wes brown scored.

Which means i will end blogging until something good happens, like reina scoring a hat trick with his pinky.

A day of fun and games

Howdy, we had full day ytd and it rocked. Today is good friday and all is good. Short sentences are becoming the norm for me. I dunno why. I cant stop. Can i?

Ok, before i drift to some place for some high quality chess game with mr.zhou, i must 1st say i am very excited (and a tinge of paranoia too) about grand slam sunday. Liverpool can go eat shit for all they want but pls beat Man U, pretty pls? Seriously, if Arsenal loses to Chelscums, it may be all over... I dun wanna get all emo but this is the one moment where we cannot but fail to win.

Walcott should start, maybe the england callup would make him more inspired to make cuntley cole fall on his butt and scream like he always do at his popstar wife. We all hate him, don't we? Glass rosicky is not back yet (what's new?) and rvp may start. I don't wanna expect too much from RvP now, just a hat trick will do.

Man i hate homework. Econs essay is so effing tedious and tiring, not to mention the question is set to kill, not pass people. I'm actually saying all this even before i start work, it makes me feel better not doing the work =). I spent most of my full day shooting and waiting for chin boon before we went to play pool. I hate losing (who doesn't?) and i kept losing, so i hate it even more. Luckily i saved some pride playing ps2...

Today was not very fruitful. I didn't eat many fruits. Oops sorry, am trying to save the world by reducing global warming with all the cold jokes. As you can see, i hope u can, i am super duper bored right now. Good friday means i get to stay home and rot it off. No work was done. No useful stuff was accomplished. Eat and sleep was routine. I love short sentences. I have completed the former. Now i have to finish the job. The latter has to be done. Sleep beckons...

C'mon you gunners!

And then, there was maths

Holy mama, maths conquered me. I was half expecting a ferocious 1 and half hour and intense battle with the paper and the paper exceeded my bloody expectations. Never knew maths could be this torturous and sick. I fought valiantly i guess, with pride and honour. But i guess the paper didn't give me any shit and just did what it had intended to do the moment it came out of the photocopier or whatever.

Yes, failing seemed to be the only way now.

More imptly, i gotta pick myself up from this failure and be a better man. Sounds corny and cheesy but thats the way to go, emo cant get you far.

Sweet holy god, we are having full day on thursday. Thats like the best thing that has happened since ramly burger. Ramly is frigging great but a burger is totally sinful. All the mayo and bbq sauce. Smacking great.

Oh and seems like barca want eboue just like how arsenal wants me. Strangely, i'm actually half hoping that this rumor is true to its core. If Barca needs a joker to cheer up TH14 and co, i say go for it. Take him, take him to your heart.

I cant believe i can still walk today, after all that crazy sprinting yesterday. It seems like a good night to just lay on the bed and dream off. So, till tomorrow.

Maths and the soccer behind it

Howdy, u must be happy i started off the post as howdy as it would mean that i am actually in a good mood. Well, in fact, nes. That no/yes at the same time if u haven realise, which i presume u most prolly wouldn't. Ah heck it.

Maths and the soccer behind it. No idea how i came up with that, i suppose thats the 2 big things running in my mind right now. My mind's rather big btw. Not much arsenal stuff today, except for the f***ing draw and all. Life goes on and earth continues spinning. Philosophical, i am. I like.

Maths is(are?) the suck. No wait, maths is the sucks. Doesn't sound right, but u get my drift. I used to like maths a lot. That was during the period when i actually knew how to tackle them. Now its all different and hence i think maths is(are) the suck(s). However, as a JC student now, i must learn to stop using such childish terms and just get the job done. Contradictory? U bet. I barely understand what i just typed and it feels good, really.

Soccer was fun today. We had our jerseys and we played some malays. I meant played against them. There were young old middle age malays so all was good. We managed our 1st draw so all was better. I actually contributed something to the team so all was best. I actually prefer the hot sun to the rainy weather. Saves on the boots cleaning and all the shit stuff.

I ought to be mathsing now but (yea everything has a 'but') i dun feel like doing so. I didn't feel like doing maths the whole of last week and with the test around 18 hrs away, i should just shoot myself. No point being pessimistic now. Theres always the bright side of life. Maybe 20 yrs down the road, i can tell my son 'hey daddy spent his one week holidays doing shit stuff and soccer and didn't study for maths!' Then we can start laughing about it and have some family fun. Gosh i think i'm going bonkers. But it feels good, really.

Alright, now we need 2 miracles, 2 holy miracles. One for arsenal to win the BPL and other for me to pass maths. To infinity and beyond!

When the going gets tough,
The great ones play soccer.

For now..

lets just f*** anything alive. Every single time arsenal loses, i question my belief as an arsenal fan. I have faith, oh yea i have, but its diminishing by the seconds. Has the Milan glory blinded the team? A false sense of "we can beat anything"? From the looks of it, no. They have the hunger, the passion but i don't see the steel in the team anymore. At least from the games after the italian job.

4 draws and we are witnessing a season's hard work going down the drain, ladies and gentlemen. This is no joke. I don't want european glory, i want the BPL title. I know they want it too, definitely. No one will remember the flashy, silky football if we don't win it. No one will remember the second best. And thats the truth. Truth hurts and you cant do anything about it.

Yes i am frustrated. I am sick of seeing Arsenal draws. I wish Man u and Chelsea would just f*** themselves with russian money and whatnot. But tts just me. Emotions are strong stuff you know. Thats what make us run, make us do things that we do and scold things we scold. I suppose a few swear words will do me good. Anger management, they call it. F*** it.

Now, we need a miracle, a real holy miracle.

Arsenal Prevailed

Ladies and gentleman..., To the Arsenal...

Arsenal 2 - 0 Ac Milan

God bless everything today! Though i may be suffering from flu, sore throat, cough, and everything painful and such, the win is like the perfect remedy to everything. I woke up at 4 am to watch, sizzling throat and all, and was not disappointed. Uh huh, no disappointment at all. My only regret is that i cant parade my Arsenal jersey in school today, i swear i'm gonna do it tmr....

Its f*cking brilliant!(To use some english accent) Arsenal played like real contenders today and the spirit and character in the team (yes the one wenger was ALWAYS talking about) was evident throughout the entire match. The win was utterly sweet which was amplified by the fact the gunners had been on a winless streak for the last 4 games.

Other than the few early scares by the home side, i found the match tilted, most of the time, to Arsenal. We were superior in terms of both possession and passing and was unlucky for Fabregas to hit the post in the 1st half. Going into the second half, Arsenal just picked off from where they were and continued to pressure the Italian side. It was obvious the home fans were frustrated by Arsenal's hogging of the ball and i believe most of them could feel that the worst was yet to come. But the Italian defence is renowned for their sturdiness and you need more possession to split it open like a nut. Someone had to provide that impetus.

THEN, out of the blue, it came.

Cesc took the ball and side stepped Gattuso almost effortlessly with a surge of pace and when it looked like 'all-so-predictable-cesc' to pass the ball, he unleashed an ultimate heat seeking rocket to the bottom corner(which was sizzling hot and was emanating heat). Amazing stuff. If it was not the wee hours of the morning(and my throat), i would have made sure that entire sengkang heard me scream. The second goal came after flamster started a counter attack and released speedy theo. Old legs vs brand-new-smacking-fresh legs. It is obvious who is gonna be faster. Theo went to the byline, cut in a perfect pass and ade capped of the historic night with his 1st ever UCL goal at the San Siro. What else can be better for the Arsenal fans?

Oooo i'm still feeling the hangover of the victory. Though i know all my euphoria could be short-lived if i do not start mugging my econs. But surely, on a rare occasion like this, all sins should be pardoned. Today is a proud day for all the true gooners and for that, a toast to everyone!

Italian job - checked!
