Howdy, cesc gunned down boro with 2 goals and thats that, really. Boro do not look like a team fighting for relegation at all, no fight no desire. They are going down.
Who cares about the riverside when we have Old Trafford coming up in one day. YES! ONE DAY. To be frank, you would have to kill me to prevent me from actually not watch the match. I get shivers just by thinking what will happen in the 1st leg on tmr!
I have no idea what to blog. I want arsenal to go through. Only one team can go to rome and lift the trophy.
Let it be Arsenal.
C'mon you gunners!

a disappointing defeat but theres no time for self pity
howdy, watching drogba scoring the goal to make it 2-1 to chelsea was heartwrenching. It was a match that, i assume, most arsenal fans would want us to win as the FA cup really feel like the most realistic chance for any silverware this season.
But what wenger did was baffling. with that, i mean mind-blowing.
he claimed to have 'rested' song. c'mon, song is having the best form of his short career now and i bet he must have been dying to play that game but to leave him on the bench and change to denilson and diaby, with the latter not played for a month now, was just plain puzzling. To assume that he rested song for the liverpool game would only mean that wenger is still delusional that arsenal can still win the lge.
Or maybe he wanted to protect the 4th place and push for 3rd. No one knows whats going on in the mysterios mind of monsieur wenger.
BUT, to place arshavin on the bench was a complete rubbish decision. I bet the man himself must have thought what the hell did i do wrong to be on a bench in the semi finals.
He was on the bench with nasri, that was crazy. 2 of our most influential midfielders, on the bench, vs chelsea, fa cup semi finals.
How many times would arshavin play in a fa cup semi final? probably 0 if wenger does what he did ytd. Arshavin is the player to change the game. He was fresh, no ucl duty, hungry to impress his own national coach and wenger places diaby.
It was stupid. Plain utter dumbness.
The goals were conceded due to shocking goalkeeping mistakes. I blame fabianski for the goals but i would blame wenger for the defeat. Wenger seldom make the wrong decisions but he definitely lost it last night.
However, with that, i do not mean that i want wenger out of the team. I am still 100% behind that man and i still believe he will bring us to glory. Perhaps a better explanation can be given for his actions by him himself.
Hope is not all lost. There is champions league to play for. This season can still prove to be a successful one. The young ones will learn, hopefully, and come back stronger. I still believe with an added defender and midfielder, we can win the double or even treble nxt season.
Youngsters like gibbs, ramsey and fabianski have to be given more time. The worrying players are denilson and diaby because they simply are not arsenal material. If they can really grow and become arsenal greats in the future, then i will gladly eat my words.
This has been a fairly analytical post, and a calm and clear headed one at that. Yes i am disappointed but i believe something great is happening. C'mon you gunners!

am i seeing legends in the making?
howdy we are through to the semis. It was just a little, just a little, (ok maybe more than a little) easier than what i initially expected. I did expect arsenal to go through though and they did, with style.
The emirates crowd was brilliant and i love watching european ties in the some unearthly hour like 3 am. Theo was not human, he was imbatic god like. Capdevila(sp?) couldn't cope with him, simply because he couldn't get anywhere near the man. So 10 minutes into the game and comrade eboue released a ball to cap cesc and he did, not sure if he wanted it that way but hes assist king so i shall give him benefit of the doubt, a superb cheeky flick-on and then it was theo, the ball, the keeper and the back of the net.
Theo took the ball with one touch and to be fair to the villarreal keeper, he charged out very fast. I was thinking "sidestep tt fool!" but theo just continued straight and kicked the ball into the air. Its crazy to watch at the angle the tv was showing cause the ball seemed to be floating out but as soon as the ball dipped suddenly into the side corner, theopedo has wheeled off to the supporters not unlike a certain number 14 in the past.
Cometh the hour, cometh the man.
1-0 up. 2-1 on aggregate. We were in control.
The subsequent 35 min only proved that we were in total control, and despite the occasional attacks they threw at us, arsenal defence (makeshift btw) proved to be sturdy. I could have sworn i was hell nervous at this moment. Thankfully the half time whistle came and went and it was second half.
Arsenal were starting to look more vulnerable, we were allowing them to play us at our own game. Then who else but the togonator scored once more.
Cesc did an inspiring header to rvp who danced around the defence like a seasoned ballet dancer before unleashing a perfect through ball to ade who took a perfect touch and finished with the outside of his foot as if it was training. Watch this goal on the replay and you can see just how much movement arsenal players make around the box. Surely you cant blame the villarreal from being bamboozled.
Obviously, our attack was a class above their defence.
Before long, comrade picked up a ball and released a fine through ball to theopedo. It is worth noting that eboue was simply brilliant throughout the game. Theo took it wide and decided to check back when some goon defender went in for a sliding tackle. Whistle. Penalty. A different goon protested. red card. rvp step out. a huge breath. a massive left foot. 3-0.
The penalty looked harsh on tv but the replay certainly showed there was contact.
3-0 and game over. Arsenal are through to the semis for the second time in wenger's proud 11 years. It effing man utd next btw.
This was probably the best and most matured performance i've seen from the gunners for quite some time. They seem to be in flying form and surely they can bring this good form to wembley this saturday and gun down the russian-money-plaything.
The players were fantastic. Fabianski was spot on in his decisions. Sylvester was actually good! Song is now evolving like a pokemon to some level 238453 monster and gibbs hardly put a foot wrong. Captain Cesc and Co gives me the feeling that i am watching legends being born. Lets hope i am right.
I am proud of the gunners and i love arsenal.
By far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

soccer makes the world go round
howdy, i was blessed with good, amazing, just brilliant soccer the previous wkend. The round round thing was the best thing this week, no doubt.
Hah i have almost forgotten the joy of playing soccer and its coming back, soccer is FTW. Like seriously.
Street was on good friday and boy it was good (friday! lame go away). Cant rmb i was ole and was oled how many times. I do rmb scoring a rather good strike from half line to the top corner. But its just 1 goal, B smacked in goals for free from all sort of angles.
Soccer at B park was great. poked in 2 goals plus i learn how to make a Frisbee swerve back or swerve to your target. Yes, who says one cant play soccer and frisbee at the same time, hmph.
And i managed to get some studying underway. This is a good week for me.
Arsenal drew Villarreal 1-1 at the madrigal and i'm salivating at the prospect of watching them going thru to the semis on wednesday. *drools*. 4-1 at Wigan wasn't too shabby either, though we suffered a stunted start, the second half performance was a joy to behold. I'm loving Arshavin alr. But duh, cesc is still the <3.
Not gonna act like some bimbotic girl supporter who support for the sake of individuals. I love arsenal, and passion is forever. Hopefully they can keep the run going, i dread the prospect of silves playing in the central defence. BUT again, in arsene we trust, in arsene we trust......
Ohhhhhhhh (haven said this for damn long time!)
C'MON YOU GUNNERS!

Indifference
Howdy, nationals wasn't all that satisfying. Considering the fact i underperformed badly and let the whole team, no wait, whole club down. Not gonna be emo about this, guess i gotta grow through this pain.
I'm waiting for arsenal match to arrive in 3h and 30 min. Its the only thing that injects some enthusiasm in the life i am living right now. No, please do not think i am getting emo. eh i said please. I need some fun right now, like now.
The only problem is i also feel like just lying on the bed and laze around.
And i have lots of tutorials to catch up.
Whats this happening now?
i'm loving angels instead
